when is Friday?

This is what my neighborhood looks like during the week. Did you notice that there aren't any kids outside playing in the streets and having fun. Do you know why???

Because all the kids are inside doing HOMEWORK! This is something new for me. I've heard Bo and Graham talking about it often (i.e. "I can't play because I have to do my homework.") but it wasn't until I had to start doing homework that I fully understood about this homework.

My homework is printing my name,

reading words,

cutting,

gluing,

coloring,

and learning my letter sounds. My mom was a teacher for 12 years, 6 years teaching Kindergarten. Ya' know what that means? Yeah, I'm screwed!
