the spirit of the season

My class, Room 2, adopted a needy family for the holidays. Miss K feels that it is very important for us to help those less fortunate than ourselves, and I agree! During this season of giving, it is important to get involved by helping people who do not have food, shelter and clothes.

Our adopted family is Suzanna and her three children: Savanna, Reanna and Johnny. Miss K got a list of the things the family needed, and then assigned everyone an item. Miss K asked that I donate a pair of shoes for Suzanna.

Well, instead of one pair of shoes, I'm donating two pairs of shoes. If Suzanna is like all the woman I know, one pair of shoes is never enough!

I picked out the wrapping paper, and helped Mommy wrap the present.

Make someone else's holiday season a joyous one... give to someone less fortunate. It will make your heart grow!
