Goodbye 2006, Hello 2007

2006 is officially almost gone! It's always good to reflect on the past year, and make a list of resolutions to work on in the New Year. Hey, I know I'm not perfect, and there is always room for some improvement, so I'm gonna try to be the best boy I can be! To be more loving and kind, and to not give Mommy and Daddy any hard times. So, here's what I'm resolving to do in 2007...

1. Clean up my room.

2. Eat more healthy foods, and less junk.

3. Be nice to Irisa, like 100 times a day.

4. Practice writing my name everyday.

5. Work on my jump shot atleast 10 times a day.

I think this is a pretty good way to start the New Year... 2007 looks like it will be a great year!

Christmas Day 2006

By the looks of things on Christmas morning, I must have been a real good boy this year! (I guess Santa lets a few incidents slide...) Santa brought me all these super cool toys. When I first saw everything, I couldn't believe my eyes, which almost popped out of my head! I couldn't think straight, and it was hard to decide which toys to play with first. I even tried to figure out how to play with them all at once. Amo, Papa, Grammy, Hip Hop, Uncle L and Natasha gave me some presents, too. I opened them, one after another, after another, and on and on and on... I thought it would never end. I had the best morning of my life on Christmas Day! It was filled with love, and magic, and presents, and fun, and all four grandparents... does life get any better than this?

a Christmas miracle

Just when Mommy had given up on ever having anymore pictures of us with Santa Claus, we surprised her with a Christmas miracle. Me and Irisa with Santa... never underestimate the magic of Christmas!

Home Sweet Home

Look what I made at school today... a gingerbread house. Today we had a Christmas Pajama Party. All the kids wore their pajamas to school. For the party, we ate yummy treats and drank hot chocolate with marshmallows. The best part was making my gingerbread house. Notice the solid roof, sturdy walls, and the harmony of colors... quality craftsmanship! It was a lot of fun making it, but I think it will be more fun eating it!!!

cleaning before partying

We had guests over to our house on Sunday night for a little Christmas cheer. I helped Mommy and Daddy clean up the house so it would be nice and clean for our guests. Wow... entertaining is hard work! When does the fun begin?

a gift for Amo

It's Amo's birthday! I made her a present at school today... an original art masterpiece. I mixed red and blue paint together to make purple, because purple is Amo's favorite color. The paper is also purple. I signed my name on the top. I still have to think of a name for my masterpiece... maybe "Purple on Purple"... or maybe "Frieda"... I'll keep you posted!

How many days 'til Christmas?

This is our Advent Calendar. Here's how it works... We open one door each day during December until Christmas Eve. Inside each door is a little surprise for me and Irisa. It helps us to know how many days until Christmas day.

Today is day number 10. I opened the door with a 10 on it. Can you see the surprise?

Rubber ducks! One for me, and one for Irisa. Now we have new little toys for bath time.

good night

Do you know what I call a good night? Lying in Mommy's bed, after taking a nice, warm lavender scented bubble bath, propped up with two big pillows, snuggled up nice and warm under the covers with a fresh cup of cold milk, watching Sponge Bob Squarepants (my show) instead of the Wiggles (Irisa's show) on TV... Now, that's what I call a good night!

GO BRUINS!!!

As Spongebob Squarepants would say, "Victory at LAST!!!"
