Good Ol' Horton

On Saturday, we went to see the new Horton movie. It had lots of funny parts that really cracked me up.

It is based on this book about Horton who hears a small speck of dust talking to him. The speck of dust is actually a tiny planet, called Who-ville, where all the Whos live. The Whos ask Horton to protect them. Horton can't see them, but can hear them. The other animals in the jungle don't believe Horton- they can't see or hear the Whos, and they make fun of Horton and are mean to him. Horton does his best to protect the Whos, and tries to get them to a safe place, but he gets captured, and the other animals are about to put the clover with the speck of dust into the beezlenut stew when...
Oh, I'm not going to spoil the ending for you... you'll just have to go and see it for yourself! And you should, because you'll come away with a great feeling in your heart because you will learn, as Horton tells everyone in the movie, that "a person's a person no matter how small!"

We continued our Horton-fest weekend by eating breakfast at IHOP on Sunday. And this is what we ate for breakfast...
We got Who Cakes, Green Eggs and Ham, and Bezzlenut Splash (soda with blue and red Jello cubes).

The folks in Who-ville sure do eat good!

An Eggs-ellent Day

On Easter Sunday, I woke up really early, and this is what I saw. I didn't even hear the Easter bunny sneak in last night.

My Easter basket was overflowing onto the table with toys and candy.

Cool! K'nex!

And two Easter baskets from Amo and Papa...

and more Star Wars guys for my collection.

I couldn't wait for this... the Easter egg hunt! I was asking Mommy and Daddy about this since 6:00 am! Daddy hid my eggs in extra hard places!

But, he couldn't trick me... I even found this extra big egg.

I helped Irisa find one of her eggs.

I wonder what is in the eggs?

Wow... special edition Hot Wheels Easter cars.

Here we are before all the rest of the fun started... church, playing with Uncle L and Natasha, and dinner. It was an eggs-ellent day!
