soccer camp

One of my big summer activities was soccer camp. I went to MLS (Major League Soccer) camp, which is the official camp and clinic of major league soccer.

This is my coach, Carl. He is from England, so he called us "mates" a lot!

the Greatest Show on Earth

Do you know why this is called the Greatest Show on Earth?

That's why!

And do you know why this is called the greatest french dipped sandwich restaurant on Earth?

That's why!

San Diego

For our first official vacation of the summer, we went to San Diego for 3 days.

Day 1, the 4th of July, we went to Legoland. This was my third time to Legoland.

After Legoland, we went out to dinner. Then at night, we watched all the fireworks from our hotel balcony!

Day 2, we took the train to the Padres baseball game.

After the game, we went swimming in the pool, and then out to dinner, and then walking around Old Town.

Day 3, yes... Legoland again!

And after Legoland, the long drive back home. I don't know about you, but vacations sure do tire me out!

history in the making

On Saturday mornings, I have my baseball games...

and Irisa has her dance class. At my game today, I caught a pop fly ball! I kinda made T-ball history. The coaches were talking to my Dad... saying something about me being the #1 draft pick for next season...

Lake Tahoe

I know that I've been lagging lately in the blogging department, but this summer has gotten off to a fast and furious start! I've been road trippin' it non-stop since early June! And, besides all my vacationing, I also have all my summer activities to keep up, like karate, basketball, baseball, swimming, soccer camp, playdates... whew! This summer is kickin' some serious you- know- what!

A few weeks ago was our first road trip to Lake Tahoe for our annual fishing trip. It was tons of fun. Uncle L, Natasha, Mommy, Daddy, Irisa and me stayed in a cool cabin in the mountains, and Amo and Papa stayed at a luxurious hotel!

The fish weren't biting for me this year, but next year I'll come better prepared... with worms!

The pool at Amo and Papa's hotel!

Lake Tahoe was awesome... this is definitely on the vacation list for next year, too!
