The Banjo and Fiddle Festival

Irisa and I do a little Texas Two-Steppin'...

and some Square Dancin'.

We listened to some fancy fiddlers and pickers.

Back in the day (when I was 2 years old), I was quite a little picker myself!

The Strawberry Festival

It wouldn't be a festival without sugary, gooey, junk food. Our favorite are churros.

Anticipation... anticipation... it's keepin' me waitin'.

The wait is always worth it!

We watched 3 great shows. This was the juggler. He juggled basketballs, and fire.

And the magician was super funny! He made coins come out of a boys ears.

a walk down memory lane

On Sunday, we went to UCLA for the LA Times Festival of Books. It was so much fun!

Mommy was a proud mama Bruin bear when Irisa and I played on the Bruin Bear! She told us all the stories of how the Bruins would stand guard for 24 hours to protect the statue from being vandalized by the Trojans before the UCLA vs USC game.

On the steps of Royce Hall.

The long trek up Janss steps!

The track field... Mommy didn't see this much when she went here. But, I will... since I plan on coming to UCLA on a track scholarship! I'm super FAST!!!

And this water fountain, which "They didn't have when Mommy went here!" HAHAHA... it's my new favorite inside joke!
